He holds a Doctor of Science degree in Corporate Credit Risk from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), with a research focus in finance. Prior to joining Thai Binh Duong University, Dr. Nguyen Ba Hung worked at the Business School, University of Edinburgh (UK) and the School of Knowledge Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. He also served as Head of Quantitative Modeling at Ernst & Young and EntroFine to complete the internal credit rating system, contributing significantly to VietCapital Bank’s BASEL II accreditation process.

In his role as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Dr. Nguyen Ba Hung brings practical experiences to develop the capabilities of students, lecturers, and staff; aiming for international quality in training, collaboration, and research cooperation with businesses.
