Dr. Nguyen Thanh Toai earned his PhD in Economics from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, one of the oldest and most prestigious public universities in Moscow, Russian Federation.

He has extensive experience in higher education management, having held leadership roles at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and Victoria Pacific University. With a modern approach to governance and an open, approachable leadership style, Dr. Toai is committed to fostering a practical, innovative, and learner-centered educational environment.

In addition to his contributions to higher education, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Toai is a founding member of Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) and served as its Deputy Chief Executive Officer for more than 20 years. Throughout his tenure, he made significant contributions to the establishment, sustainable growth, and development of ACB through various periods of change and volatility in Vietnam’s financial market.
