Dr. Vu Minh Ngoc

Mr. Vu Minh Ngoc is an experienced and dedicated lecturer with over 20 years of contribution to the education sector. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English from Dalat University in 1996 and immediately started his teaching career at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the university. With a passion for learning and improving his expertise, he continued to pursue a Master’s program in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at the prestigious University of Sydney, Australia, and graduated in 2002. His Master’s program was funded by the Australian Government, affirming his competence and potential in the field of education. Continuously striving, Mr. Ngoc went on to earn a Doctorate in Education (TESOL) at the University of Sydney in 2017, equipping himself with in-depth professional knowledge and advanced research skills. In addition to teaching at Dalat University, Mr. Ngoc also holds the position of Head of the Department of English for Specific Purposes (ESP), demonstrating excellent leadership and management skills.

He also actively participates in international exchange programs, notably the US-Indochina Educational Exchange Enhancement Program in 1997 in Canada and the United States. Furthermore, he has presented numerous reports at prestigious international conferences such as the International Pragmatics Conference at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2014 and the International Education Conference in London, England. He believes that the most effective education is a harmonious combination of theory and practice, learning by doing.

He always encourages students to take the initiative in learning, actively participate in social activities, and contribute to the community. Mr. Ngoc’s teaching method is student-centered, inspiring and igniting students’ passion for learning. With extensive knowledge and experience, along with advanced pedagogical methods, Mr. Ngoc promises to be an excellent lecturer, contributing to improving the quality of the university’s training.
