On March 19th, Thai Binh Duong University held a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with Kyungwoon University (South Korea), opening up comprehensive cooperation in training and research.

According to the memorandum of understanding, the two universities will implement extensive cooperation activities, focusing on training and scientific research.
Specifically, the two sides will implement 1+3 and 2+2 transfer programs, creating opportunities for students of Thai Binh Duong University to experience an advanced learning environment in South Korea.
Students participating in the program will complete their first years of study at Thai Binh Duong University and then transfer to Kyungwoon University to complete the remaining years and receive a bachelor’s degree awarded by Kyungwoon University.
In addition, the student exchange program is also an important aspect of cooperation between the two sides. This program allows exchange students to accumulate credits at the partner university for a period of one semester to one academic year, with strengths in areas such as business, information technology, and Korean language and culture.
This is an opportunity for students to enhance their professional skills, participate in cultural exchanges, and improve their foreign language proficiency.

Other areas of cooperation include organizing workshops, seminars and joint scientific research; faculty and postgraduate student exchange programs will also be promoted to expand academic relations between faculties and departments of both universities. The signing of the agreement with Kyungwoon University marks another important milestone in the international cooperation strategy of Thai Binh Duong University. This helps the university improve the quality of training, enhance opportunities for students to study and research in an advanced educational environment, and create conditions for students to work at international companies in Vietnam as well as global corporations abroad.

Previously, Thai Binh Duong University had established cooperative relationships with many major universities in South Korea such as Jeonju University and Cheongju University.
In recent times, the University has continuously strived to expand cooperation with many prestigious universities around the world, providing diverse international study options for students, while leveraging international resources to accelerate the process of improving teaching and research quality.
