Recently, Logistics and Supply Chain Management students from Thai Binh Duong University had an informative field trip to Cam Ranh International Airport and the Vietjet Air base in Cam Ranh.

Students met with the Chief Representative and Chief Flight Attendant at the Vietjet Air base in Cam Ranh.

This activity provided a valuable opportunity for students to directly observe aviation operations, warehouse management, and baggage handling procedures. Notably, at the Vietjet Air base in Cam Ranh, they had the chance to delve deeper into the logistics processes within the aviation industry, a crucial aspect of the global supply chain.

“Vietjet Air currently has over 8,000 employees from more than 66 countries and territories. This is an ideal international working environment where young individuals can continuously learn and develop their careers with unlimited advancement opportunities. Positions such as flight attendants, operations, ground services, or departmental management are all open to dynamic students, especially in the context of the ever-growing aviation industry, creating more job opportunities both domestically and internationally,” shared Mr. Le Cao Ut, Chief Representative of Vietjet Air in Cam Ranh, with the students.

Tran Tuan Nha, a freshman in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, shared his first impressions of encountering the professional working procedures at the airport and Vietjet Air base: “This trip helped me better understand the actual work in the Logistics industry, from baggage handling to the coordination between departments in an aviation environment. This is very useful and practical knowledge that I can apply to my studies.”

The field trip aimed to provide knowledge about the logistics field, thereby helping students gain a clearer picture of actual work in the aviation industry. “Through the trip, I feel that the work in this industry is very diverse and attractive. I had the opportunity to talk with department directors and industry experts, which helped me better understand the job positions in the aviation industry. This is a great motivation for me to be determined to improve my knowledge and skills, especially towards career opportunities at Vietjet Air,” said student Vu Huynh Thuy Tram.

This field trip was not only a meaningful experience for the students but also a clear demonstration of the strategic partnership between Thai Binh Duong University and Vietjet Air.
