Prof. Park Jong Ryul

Center for Korean Studies

Professor Park Jong Ryul is a dedicated educator who has devoted over 10 years of his life to teaching and contributing to the Vietnamese education system. He was appointed Professor at Ajou University (South Korea) in 2004.

Professor Park Jong Ryul came to Vietnam in 2008 as the Director of the Korea-Vietnam Center at Da Lat University. In July 2017, he continued to serve as the Director of the Center for Korean Studies at Thai Binh Duong University. With extensive teaching experience and a love for students, Professor Park Jong Ryul is not only a dedicated teacher but also a caring father figure, always caring for and supporting Korean Studies students.

In addition to teaching, Professor Park Jong Ryul is also a cultural bridge between Vietnam and South Korea. He actively:

  • Connects academic cooperation: Building relationships with many universities in South Korea, organizing training sessions for lecturers, and creating opportunities for students from both countries to interact and learn.
  • Expands career opportunities: Connecting with Korean businesses in Vietnam, creating conditions for TBD students to receive scholarships from large corporations such as Shinhan Bank and Hyundai.

With his significant contributions to the development of Korean Studies at TBD, Professor Park Jong Ryul is an inspiration to generations of students who love Korean culture, language, and the country.
