
M.A. An Hei Won
Ms. An Hei Won is a Korean lecturer currently teaching Korean at Thai Binh Duong University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English education from Chong Sin University and a Master’s degree in Korean Studies from Kyeong Hee University. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Ms. An Hei Won has spent 10 years teaching Korean in Vietnam and over 10 years teaching English in Korea.
As a dedicated educator, Ms. An Hei Won always values the comprehensive development of students, including both character and intellect. She believes that the more than 3 years of teaching at Thai Binh Duong University has been extremely meaningful, helping her accumulate enough experience and empathy to understand and care for students. Instead of passively transmitting knowledge, Ms. An Hei Won always encourages students’ initiative by asking questions, patiently guiding, and helping them find suitable learning methods.
For Ms. An Hei Won, the present is the most precious time. She believes that bringing joy and happiness to students is also her own happiness. She hopes that through learning Korean, students will find joy, confidence, and career development opportunities.
Ms. An Hei Won’s educational philosophy is summarized by her through three questions from the Russian writer Tolstoy:
- What is the most important time in your life?
- Who is the most important person in your life?
- What is the most important thing in your life?
For Ms. An Hei Won, the answer to all three questions is the students she is teaching. She believes that bringing happiness to students is the most important thing in her life.
