Phan Vu Uyen Minh, a K13 student majoring in Chinese Studies, has successfully secured a full master’s scholarship in Vietnamese-Chinese Translation at Yunnan Normal University in China, one of the leading institutions for language and translation in Southwest China.

This scholarship, jointly awarded by the Chinese Government and Yunnan Normal University, aims to recruit outstanding students with excellent academic performance and a passion for language research. Uyên Minh being granted a full scholarship is not only the result of her continuous efforts throughout her studies, but also an affirmation of her ability, passion, and dedication.
As a dynamic student, Uyên Minh has always played a pivotal role in the academic and extracurricular activities of the Faculty of Language and Culture. In 2024, Uyên Minh also received a short-term full scholarship to study and exchange at Nanjing University, one of China’s prestigious universities. This opportunity provided Minh with valuable experiences and direct exposure to the culture and advanced education system of the populous nation.

Uyên Minh expressed: “I want to sincerely thank all the teachers who have always created opportunities, encouraged, and helped me throughout my studies at TBD. Thanks to their dedication and enthusiasm, I not only gained knowledge but also learned many valuable life lessons. This will always be a memorable time, and I am truly grateful to have been accompanied by such wonderful teachers.”
Uyên Minh will depart for her Master’s studies in China this September. We hope she continues to achieve much success in her journey of self-development and career. Her relentless effort and passion for learning will surely be a shining example for students of Thai Binh Duong University to follow.
