Thai Binh Duong University and VKBIA sign a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of training.

At the meeting, Dr. Tran Hai Linh, Chairman of VKBIA, expressed deep impression on Khanh Hoa’s socio-economic development potential and the province’s desire to strengthen cooperation in key sectors such as Logistics, tourism, high-tech industries, clean industries, green manufacturing, and renewable energy. Notably, Dr. Tran Hai Linh emphasized the demand for high-quality human resources and expressed the wish for Khanh Hoa province to implement vocational training programs, specialized skills, and Korean language courses for the local workforce to meet the needs of Korean businesses investing in the region.

In response, Mr. Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, provided information on Khanh Hoa’s development orientation, with a particular focus on developing high-quality human resources to meet the increasing demand from businesses, especially those from Korea. Mr. Le Huu Hoang affirmed the province’s commitment to creating the most favorable conditions regarding infrastructure, preferential policies, and support from functional agencies to ensure the highest efficiency for Korean enterprises’ investment projects.

It is precisely in the context of these strategic development orientations and strong commitments from the provincial leadership that the signing of cooperation between Thai Binh Duong University and VKBIA becomes particularly meaningful. This is the only university in Khanh Hoa province that the VKBIA has chosen to sign a cooperation agreement with, demonstrating trust in the university’s training capacity and its position in the local higher education system.

The memorandum of understanding between Thai Binh Duong University and VKBIA focuses on the following key areas:

  • Human resource training: Developing specialized training programs tailored to the practical needs of the labor market, especially in the fields of languages, tourism, technology, international business, modern enterprise management, and other areas where Vietnamese – Korean society has a demand. The goal is to equip students not only with specialized knowledge but also with soft skills and adaptability to the global working environment.
  • R&D: Establishing applied research projects to create innovative solutions from R&D programs that can be applied to production and practical business management.
  • Cultural exchange and experience: Organizing exchange activities, workshops, and student and entrepreneur exchange programs to enhance understanding and strengthen friendly relations between Vietnam and Korea.
  • Startup support: Building a startup ecosystem, providing mentorship and resources so that students’ creative ideas can develop into successful businesses.

The signing of the cooperation agreement with VKBIA is not only a significant milestone for Thai Binh Duong University in expanding its partner network, but also a strong impetus for training a generation of high-quality young human resources capable of competing in the international labor market. With the close connection from VKBIA – a reputable organization of Vietnamese and Korean businesses, entrepreneurs, and experts – students of Thai Binh Duong University will certainly have more opportunities to access advanced training programs, internships, and employment in Korean enterprises.
