On October 23, 2024, Thai Binh Duong University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Minghsin University of Science and Technology (MUST) and the International Talent Acquisition Center Taiwan Education Office (INTACT), opening up global learning and research opportunities for students.

The ceremony was attended by, on behalf of Thai Binh Duong University, Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong – President, along with leaders of specialized faculties and functional departments. From MUST, there was the participation of Prof. Liao Hsin Te – Vice President and Head of the International Relations Office; Ms. Li Hsi Yen – Deputy Head of the International Relations Office; and Ms. Vu Ngoc Minh Thao – Project Manager.

According to the signed memorandum, the involved parties will collaborate on research and development of joint training programs for high-quality human resources in high-tech fields such as information technology, artificial intelligence, and especially semiconductor technology – a field that is receiving much attention from society. In addition, Thai Binh Duong University will be the address for recruiting and teaching Taiwanese to learners before they study abroad at MUST.

Within the framework of this collaboration, graduates of Thai Binh Duong University will have the opportunity to pursue higher education at leading Taiwanese universities through the International Talents Nurturing Scholarship of Engineering and Sciences (INTENSE) program. Initiated by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, the INTENSE program focuses on science and engineering fields, with an emphasis on semiconductors and chip technology. Students will receive full financial support for Chinese language training from the INTACT office in Vietnam and have opportunities to work in Taiwanese enterprises after completing the program.
Through this strategic partnership with Taiwanese institutions, Thai Binh Duong University is progressively realizing its goal of training high-quality human resources to meet the development needs of key industries in the 4.0 era.
