A significant milestone was marked on February 7th, 2023, as Thai Binh Duong University and Andong University (South Korea) formally signed a cooperation agreement in the A201 auditorium.
In attendance at the ceremony were Prof. Park Jong Ryul, Director of the Korean Studies Center, Assoc. Prof. Vo Dinh Van, Deputy Director of the International Training Institute, Dr. Vo Sang Xuan Lan, Chair of the School’s Science Council, Korean language lecturers, and representatives from Thai Binh Duong University’s faculties/departments.
At the ceremony, Dr. Pham Quoc Loc, President of Thai Binh Duong University, and Professor Kim Sang Woo, Professor of Business Administration at Andong University, represented their respective institutions in signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the common goal of supporting the strengthening of friendly relations, scientific research, and educational cooperation.
A wide range of cooperative activities will be undertaken by both parties, including:
- Student and intern exchange
- Faculty and research staff exchange
- Joint research projects, conferences, and academic seminars
- Development of joint educational programs
Dr. Pham Quoc Loc, President of Thai Binh University, highlighted the potential for cooperation in a wide range of fields, such as language and culture, economics, information technology, and the humanities, during his remarks at the signing ceremony. He suggested that both in-person and online interactions could facilitate these collaborations and emphasized the need for increased engagement between the two institutions.
To materialize the signed agreement and bring it into reality in the quickest and most beneficial way, Professor Kim Sang Woo delivered a special lecture on the topic “Special lecture: Principles of Marketing in Digital age”.
