On September 5, 2024, Thai Binh Duong University hosted a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bali Tourism Polytechnic (BiTP), Indonesia. This event marks a new milestone in the university’s international collaboration, expanding opportunities for development in education and research.

The two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong, President of Thai Binh Duong University; Dr. Do Thi Mai Doan Thuc, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism; and Dr. Huynh Thanh Trang, Head of the Department of Scientific Research and International Cooperation.

Representatives from Bali Tourism Polytechnic (BiTP) included Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Puja, Director; Dr. Luh Yusni Wiarti, Deputy Director; and Ms. Hardina – Secretary of the International Cooperation Department.

The memorandum focuses on promoting cooperation in education and research between the two institutions, including:

  • Student, faculty, and staff exchanges to create a multicultural learning and working environment;
  • Developing short-term and long-term academic programs for students;
  • Exploring each other’s operational systems, expanding cooperation mechanisms, and identifying potential areas of collaboration;
  • Enhancing awareness of academic programs, research, and educational resources to promote mutual development.
Representatives from both universities discuss potential areas of collaboration.

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong stated: “The partnership with BiTP is a significant step in Thai Binh Duong University’s internationalization strategy. We believe this collaboration will bring substantial benefits to both parties, particularly in the fields of tourism and hospitality education and research.” It is anticipated that this partnership will provide students from both universities with an international, multicultural learning environment and comprehensive development opportunities, while also strengthening the friendly relations between Vietnam and Indonesia.
