On January 10, 2026, the University of the Pacific Ocean (UPO) solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Cohort 1 and the Master of Law – Cohort 3, welcoming more than 40 postgraduate learners. The event marked an important milestone in the University’s strategy for developing high-quality human resources, with the official launch of the first MBA program alongside its key Master of Law program.

This ceremony marked the inaugural intake of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at UPO. The expansion of postgraduate education into the fields of economics and management affirms the University’s multidisciplinary training capacity and its commitment to nurturing future business leaders equipped with strategic thinking, modern management competencies, and strong adaptability in the face of global market dynamics.

At the same time, the Master of Law program continues to strengthen its position with a modern curriculum that emphasizes the integration of in-depth legal knowledge and practical skills, aiming to foster a strong sense of professional responsibility and dedication to the pursuit of justice.


The ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished experts who will serve as advisors and sources of inspiration for learners throughout their academic journey, including:
- Mr. Tạ Quang Tòng, Attorney-at-law, Member of the National Bar Council of Vietnam;
- Mr. Nguyễn Quang Vinh, Attorney-at-law, Chief Executive Officer of T&V Law Firm;
- Mr. Nguyễn Bắc Sơn, Judicial Officer, Head of Khanh Hoa Judicial Office.
Representing the University leadership were Dr. Lê Anh Tuấn, Vice President; Mr. Lê Anh Vân, M.A., Vice President and Dean of the Faculty of Law and Public Administration, along with leaders of faculties and administrative departments.
In his address, Dr. Lê Anh Tuấn reaffirmed the University’s strong commitment to closely accompanying learners throughout their postgraduate studies. With an educational philosophy that closely links theory with practice, UPO’s master’s programs aim not only to provide a solid academic foundation but also to develop leadership capacity and practical problem-solving skills.
According to the plan, the Master of Law class will commence on January 11, 2026, while the Master of Business Administration class will begin on January 24, 2026.
