Continuing its impressive achievements in foreign language competitions, on the afternoon of January 22, 2026, the student team of the University of the Pacific Ocean (UPO) excellently won Third Prize at the Final Round of the “Master English – Master Your Life” Competition – Group B (Universities and Colleges), organized by the Steering Committee of the “Khanh Hoa People Speak English” Program.

The “Master English – Master Your Life” competition is a meaningful initiative aimed at promoting the learning and use of English within the community, particularly in key economic sectors of Khanh Hoa Province. This year, the competition focused on the theme of Tourism – Restaurant – Hotel, one of the prominent training strengths of the University of the Pacific Ocean.
After a highly competitive Preliminary Round with nearly 4,000 contestants from seven universities and colleges across the province, eight outstanding students were selected to represent the University of the Pacific Ocean in the Final Round.

At the Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union Hall, UPO students demonstrated not only fluent English proficiency and confident presentation skills but also sharp critical thinking, flexible problem-solving abilities, and solid professional knowledge in the tourism and service sectors. With thorough preparation, strong teamwork, and impressive performance, the UPO team successfully convinced the judging panel and secured Third Prize – Group B of the competition.
This achievement further affirms the quality of education and international-oriented training approach of the University of the Pacific Ocean in equipping students with strong foreign language competence integrated with professional expertise, meeting the demands of the labor market in the context of globalization.

Notably, this is not the first time UPO students have made a strong impression at provincial-level English competitions. Over the years, many generations of the University’s students have continuously achieved top honors such as Champion and Runner-up in prestigious academic and foreign language contests, contributing to the image of UPO students as dynamic, confident, and globally integrated learners.
