On the morning of June 5th, Thai Binh Duong University and the Philippine Consulate General (based in Ho Chi Minh City) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the aim of strengthening international partnerships and expanding study abroad and cultural exchange opportunities for students.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Thai Binh Duong University and the Philippine Consulate General took place on [date] at the university. This marked a significant milestone in the cooperative relationship between the two parties. Witnessing the ceremony were Dr. Pham Quoc Loc, President of the university, and Ms. Le Thi Phung, Consul General of the Philippines, along with other leaders from both sides.

At the signing ceremony, both sides introduced their institutions to foster a deeper understanding and reached a consensus on potential collaborative programs to be implemented in the near future. These programs include:

  • Facilitating student, faculty, and researcher exchange programs to foster research collaboration, teaching, and provide continuous education support between universities and colleges in the Philippines and Vietnam.
  • Promoting collaboration in coordinating joint research programs, internships, testing, and communication for both current and graduated students between universities and colleges in the Philippines and Vietnam.
  • Facilitating and promoting cooperation in international training programs, workshops, conferences, and surveys of local organizations.

Delivering a speech at the signing ceremony, Dr. Pham Quoc Loc emphasized the significance of the partnership with the Philippine Consulate General in providing Thai Binh Duong University students with more opportunities to study and immerse themselves in the Philippine culture. He expressed his enthusiasm for future collaborations, particularly 3+1 and 2+2 programs that would enable students to study at prestigious Philippine institutions.

Notably, Thai Binh Duong University has previously forged partnerships with nearly 400 domestic and international corporations, underscoring its commitment to providing 100% job placement for graduates in prestigious companies such as HDBank, Vietjet Air, Phu Long Real Estate, and Sovico Group.
