The agreement was signed on October 8th in Ho Chi Minh City, with representatives from SOVICO Group, HDBank, and HD SAISON in attendance.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Toai, President of Thai Binh Duong University, and Mr. Tsukagoshi Kazuyoshi, President of JISA, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The Japan Internship Association (JISA) is a program of the Japanese government. This program allows Japanese companies to accept and employ international students as interns with the aim of promoting cultural exchange, providing a workforce for studying and working in Japan, and developing students’ skills in an international work environment.

Accordingly, the signing ceremony not only opens up many opportunities for study and work experience but also offers numerous scholarships for students to participate in paid internships in Japan.In the cooperation, the Japan Internship Association commits to:

  • Cooperating with Thai Binh Duong University to organize training and coaching for students according to the requirements of Japanese companies;
  • Cooperating to organize Japanese language training; Providing training for the Japanese National Skills Certificate “Specialized Skills Certificate”; 
  • Providing scholarships for students to participate in paid internships in Japan for 6 or 12 months;
  • Providing advice and introducing and organizing “Work while studying Japanese” scholarships after 2 years of switching to a full-time work visa in Japan for Vietnamese engineering graduates;
  • Recruiting engineering graduates to work at Japanese companies;
  • Organizing activities to exchange experts, engineers, and graduates in specialized fields to serve training, scientific research, and technology transfer of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution.
Japan is known as a market with high-quality labor and education, and many organizations wish to cooperate.

At the signing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Toai, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and President of Thai Binh Duong University, shared many insights about the university’s strategic orientation in international cooperation activities.

He stated, “While Thai Binh Duong University is a relatively young institution, having been founded only 13 years ago, we recognize the paramount importance of international collaboration in educating our students and enhancing the capabilities of our faculty. Today’s agreement presents us with numerous opportunities for our students to engage in diverse and enriching international experiences, broadening their perspectives, inspiring them, and equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to become independent, adaptable, successful, and fulfilled individuals.

Mr. Dam The Thai – Deputy General Director of HD SAISON made a speech at the meeting.

In addition, Mr. Tran Hoai Phuong, Deputy General Director of HDBank, and Mr. Dam The Thai, Deputy General Director of HD SAISON, delivered congratulatory remarks on this momentous occasion. This event also marks the beginning of new collaborations in education between Thai Binh Duong University and the other parties present.
