Khanh Hoa Province’s People’s Committee Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, requested the Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with the Youth Union and Thai Binh Duong University (TBD), to specify the details of the cooperation with Ulsan University.
A Crucial Bridge in Strategic Cooperation
On the afternoon of October 8th, at the Khanh Hoa Province People’s Committee headquarters, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee – chaired a meeting with members of the delegation returning from South Korea to implement tasks following their working trip. The meeting aimed to specify the cooperation agreements signed with Ulsan Province, thereby promoting comprehensive cooperation between the two localities.
Within the context of the growing cooperation between Khanh Hoa and Ulsan City, South Korea, TBD plays a pivotal role, not only in training Korean-language human resources but also in cultural and educational exchange activities. The University’s Korean Studies Center has been actively training students and workers in Khanh Hoa province with an intensive Korean language program, contributing to improving the language and cultural capabilities of human resources serving bilateral cooperation.
Currently, the Korean Studies Center’s teaching staff includes two Korean instructors familiar with Vietnamese culture and Vietnamese instructors with many years of study and work experience in South Korea. With their solid professional background and rich experience, this team not only provides a quality training program but also promotes mutual cultural understanding between the two countries.
Furthermore, the University’s Korean Studies Center maintains close partnerships with businesses and organizations operating in the Vietnam-Korea economic sector. Simultaneously, the University is connected with South Korean government organizations such as KOICA and the Korean Foundation (KF), facilitating access to scholarships, study, and work opportunities in South Korea for students and workers in Khanh Hoa province.
Promoting Vietnam-Korea Cultural Exchange and Educational Cooperation
Through continuous efforts, TBD has affirmed its position in supporting human resource development and expanding strategic cooperation between Khanh Hoa and Ulsan. The university plans to organize various rich cultural exchange activities, including art performances, film screenings, culinary experiences, and international academic seminars, to create a diverse learning and cultural experience environment for students.
These activities not only help students develop language skills and cultural understanding but also contribute positively to the development of the partnership between Khanh Hoa and Ulsan. In the context of globalization, this strategic cooperation will open up new opportunities for local students and workers, while contributing to enhancing the stature of Khanh Hoa province internationally.
TBD’s extensive participation in cultural and educational cooperation programs between Khanh Hoa and Ulsan not only demonstrates the university’s role in human resource training but also affirms the university’s commitment to sustainable development and international cooperation.
