On September 21st, Thai Binh Duong University welcomed Professor Nicholas David Leimu-Brown, Principal of Linacre College, University of Oxford, and other distinguished guests from SOVICO Group. The visit marked a significant milestone in the university’s international relations.
As part of their visit, the delegation toured the state-of-the-art facilities at Thai Binh Duong University, including the Tourism and Information Technology laboratories, library, and cinema. To commemorate this special occasion, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Toai, President of Thai Binh Duong University, joined Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao and Professor Brown in a tree-planting ceremony, symbolizing the strong and fruitful cooperation between the institutions.

Dr. Pham Quoc Loc, Vice President of Thai Binh Duong University, also represented the university to introduce and share with the delegation the remarkable achievements of the school in recent academic years, demonstrating the school’s commitment to its mission of training successful and happy citizens.
Before the heartfelt sharing about the educational achievements of Thai Binh Duong, Professor Nick Brown expressed: “We highly appreciate the vision and dedication of the university. Thai Binh Duong has invested very well in the quality of education and created a meaningful interaction space between lecturers and students. What impressed me most is that the university has built a program called “Listening to students – Speaking to students”, demonstrating dedication when talking and listening to students, creating an environment for students to develop more comprehensively. A university where all ideas and opinions are listened to is very valuable.”
At the same event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, representing SOVICO Group, expressed her dedication and the Group’s commitment to fostering research and education for the community.
