Recently, the University of the Pacific Ocean (UPO) organized an exchange, counseling, and scholarship award program at the VNU-HCM High School for the Gifted, attracting strong interest and enthusiastic participation from a large number of students.
At the program, People’s Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thanh Phong – President of the University of the Pacific Ocean – personally presented 43 “Ho Thanh Phong Scholarships”, each covering 100% of tuition for the Talent Program, with a total value of up to VND 8.7 billion. These meaningful scholarships not only provide financial support but also recognize students’ abilities and encourage their academic and personal development.

Notably, People’s Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thanh Phong also directly engaged with students, sharing insights on career orientation, choosing the right major, and essential skills in an ever-changing society. With a practical and approachable style, he offered valuable perspectives that helped students better understand themselves and their future paths.
The atmosphere became even more dynamic as students actively raised questions and interacted with him on topics such as career trends, learning opportunities, and the academic environment at UPO. These open discussions created an inspiring and meaningful exchange session.

Meanwhile, the University of the Pacific Ocean’s booth also attracted a large number of students. Here, they could explore detailed information about academic programs, majors, scholarship policies, and the university’s dynamic learning environment. Many lovely souvenirs bearing UPO’s unique identity were also handed directly to students, adding to the excitement and friendly atmosphere.

The program was not only an occasion to award scholarships but also served as an important bridge connecting the University of the Pacific Ocean with high school students, helping to spread a positive learning spirit and inspire aspirations to reach further and achieve greater goals in the future.
