The Study and Experience Program in Bali, Indonesia for TBD students has been underway for three days, filled with exciting, engaging, and enriching experiences.

The TBD delegation captured a memorable moment with lecturers and students from Bali Tourism Polytechnic, Indonesia.

Upon arrival at the airport, the delegation received a warm welcome from the leadership and students of Bali Tourism Polytechnic (BiTP). This prestigious institution would be the place where TBD students would visit and learn throughout their time in Bali.

Arriving at BiTP during the week of the school’s 46th anniversary celebrations (1978-2024), the TBD students were truly “overwhelmed” by the lush green campus spanning over 20 hectares, with lecture halls boasting architecture and history listed as Indonesian heritage sites. Particularly impressive were the two massive hotels located right on campus, operated by the school’s own students. The TBD students were accommodated in 5-star standard rooms with “million-dollar views” at the newly inaugurated Kamala Hotel.

A day for the TBD student delegation begins at 9 am and ends at 9 pm, but it is always filled with experiences and joy. In the mornings, the students learn about Destination Marketing, the art of bartending, and cuisine under the guidance of reputable experts. At the end of each lesson, a cute TBD teddy bear is presented to the teachers as a token of gratitude from the team for the new knowledge gained and the warm and valuable welcome.

In the afternoons, the students are also busy with sightseeing and learning activities at famous tourist destinations in Bali such as Nusa Dua Beach, Kuta, Taro Village, and Ubud. They are treated to delicious traditional Balinese meals.

We wish the TBD students continued fulfilling moments with the friendly, hospitable, and warm people of Bali in the remaining days of their journey.
