In the joyful atmosphere of the early days of the Lunar New Year, the Youth Union of the University of the Pacific Ocean (UPO) collaborated with the Youth Union of Bac Khanh Vinh Commune (Khanh Hoa Province) and Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary & High School to successfully organize the campaign “Volunteer Spring – Volunteer Saturday” over two days, February 6–7, 2026.

Bringing with them the enthusiasm and proactive spirit of UPO youth, the student volunteers carried out many meaningful activities that helped bring a fresh and vibrant look to the local school as the Lunar New Year approached. From making traditional bánh chưng and bánh tét, cleaning and improving the school environment, to providing other practical support, every activity was carried out with responsibility and genuine compassion.

A highlight of the program was the heartfelt Spring gifts, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and compassion among students of the University of the Pacific Ocean:

  • 40 gift packages including rice and essential supplies were presented to disadvantaged households and students in the area.
  • Financial support of 2,000,000 VND was provided to students and Youth Union members facing difficult circumstances, offering encouragement and motivation for them to continue striving in their studies.
  • A cultural exchange program celebrating the Party and the Spring was also organized, creating a joyful atmosphere and strengthening community connections at the beginning of the year.

Sharing his thoughts about the trip, Mr. Dang Son, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of the Pacific Ocean, expressed his emotions: “Although the trip was short, it left us with many memorable feelings. Seeing the smiles of the students when receiving the gifts under the afternoon sun made us realize even more the meaning of giving. It is also an opportunity for our Youth Union members to learn through real-life experiences, strengthening their sense of compassion, solidarity, and responsibility toward the community.”

The Volunteer Spring Campaign 2026 not only brought warmth and joy to the local community during the Lunar New Year, but also became a meaningful journey for UPO youth to spread kindness, live responsibly, and grow through activities dedicated to the community.
