[According to VN Express] Thai Binh Duong University collaborates with over 100 businesses to provide students with practical training and, concurrently, exempt equivalent courses.

Thai Binh Duong University stated that it has partnered with Vietjet Aviation Academy, IBH Hospitality Academy, HDBank, FUNiX, and others for training. This allows students to participate in specialized courses offered by these companies, receiving exemptions from equivalent university courses and industry-recognized certificates.

For example, students completing the “Professional Sales Skills” course at IBH will be exempted from the university’s “Tourism Sales & Marketing” course. This is a significant competitive advantage in the job market. In addition to their university degree, students gain internationally recognized certificates from businesses, combining practical knowledge, experience, and skills with theoretical classroom learning.

Thai Binh Duong University further explained that strengthening industry connections and collaborations is a key strategic direction for the university. Currently, Thai Binh Duong University’s network of partners extends domestically and internationally, encompassing diverse fields. Students gain practical, on-the-job experience at businesses for over 30% of their total training time, accumulating more than 1.5 years of work experience by graduation. Internships are arranged starting from the first year and continue for two to three professional semesters afterward. During this time, students work on real projects, participate in real-world tasks, and collaborate in teams as full-fledged employees.

Thanks to this “learn-and-earn” advantage, Duong Gia Tue (a second-year student) confidently applied for and secured a human resources internship at Vietjet Air in Ho Chi Minh City. According to Tue, the proactive attitude, determination, and deep understanding of the work gained through the “practical learning with businesses” experience were key factors in overcoming the challenges.

Experts from partner businesses are directly involved in curriculum development, ensuring that teaching and learning are closely aligned with practical applications and the latest market trends. Among the more than 100 partner businesses, four strategic training partners—Sovico Group, Vietjet Air, HDBank, and Phu Long Real Estate—provide exclusive internship and job opportunities for students.

Huynh Quoc Thi, Regional Director and Branch Manager of HDBank Nha Trang, shared that through a long-term collaboration, the company has confidence in the university’s graduates and is willing to hire students even while they are still studying, provided they possess the necessary skills.

Beyond the curriculum, Thai Binh Duong University has continuously invested in improving faculty quality, facilities, and building an international standard learning environment to help young people integrate, adapt, and compete effectively.

Furthermore, Khanh Hoa province aims to become a centrally-administered city by 2030, a center for international tourism and services, a growth pole, and a hub for the South Central Coast, Central Highlands, and the entire country. This creates the foundation for Khanh Hoa to attract significant investment, boost economic development, and expand job opportunities.

“Thai Binh Duong University will be an ideal choice in the South Central region, a cradle for training high-quality human resources to meet practical needs. For young people in Khanh Hoa, realizing the dream of studying close to home and building a career in their hometown is no longer distant,” the university representative affirmed.
