On the occasion of the 71st Anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2026), the University of the Pacific Ocean (UPO) organized visits to extend congratulations and express gratitude to doctors and medical staff at healthcare institutions across Khanh Hoa Province. This occasion not only honored the silent contributions of the healthcare sector but also marked the strong connection between the university and its partner hospitals in the strategy of training the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Continuing its tradition and social responsibility each year, UPO delegations—including representatives from the Board of Management and leaders of faculties and departments—visited and congratulated the following institutions: Khanh Hoa Department of Health and partner hospitals such as Khanh Hoa General Hospital, Military Hospital 87, Vinmec International General Hospital Nha Trang, 22-12 Hospital, Tam Tri Nha Trang General Hospital, Yersin Nha Trang General Hospital, Sai Gon Nha Trang General Hospital, and Khanh Hoa Traditional Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital. The delegations also visited Meritorious Physician, Specialist Level II Dr. Nguyen Van Xang, former Director of Khanh Hoa General Hospital and currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Pacific Ocean.

Representatives of the university expressed sincere appreciation for the dedication of healthcare professionals in protecting public health. The university also acknowledged and highly valued the active support of these institutions in providing healthcare services for UPO lecturers, staff, and students over the years. In return, representatives of the medical institutions expressed their desire to further strengthen comprehensive cooperation with the university.

The year 2026 marks a significant milestone as the University of the Pacific Ocean officially launches training programs in the health sciences, including Nursing and Biomedical Science. The university’s core goal is to provide high-quality healthcare professionals with strong expertise and strong medical ethics for Khanh Hoa Province in particular and the South Central and Central Highlands regions in general.
To realize this goal in accordance with the educational philosophy of “Learning through Practice – Career-Oriented Education,” the university extends sincere gratitude to professors, doctors, and medical professionals at partner hospitals who have supported—and will continue to support—the development of training programs, participate in teaching, and provide facilities for student practice and internships.

Some contributions cannot be measured by time but by the heartbeat of life itself. Whether on the frontline saving lives or in the classroom nurturing knowledge, the image of the physician remains a noble symbol of medical ethics, responsibility, and trust.

On this special occasion, the University of the Pacific Ocean sincerely wishes all doctors, medical staff, and healthcare professionals good health, enduring passion for their profession, and continued success in their mission of serving the community.
